All measurements are to be taken with the dog standing to ensure accurate measurements.

Use these measurements for Coats, Pajamas and Sweaters

1. Measure around the neck where the neck joins the body.

2. Measure the girth. This measurement is taken around the largest part of the chest just behind the front legs and up and over the back.

3. Measure the length.  Measure from where the neck joins the body to the base of the tail.

For Trousers

1. Measure around the waist.  This measurement should be taken around the smallest part of the dogs body.

2. Measure from the dogs waist to the base of the tail.

3. Measure the base of the tail (make sure that you hold the tape measure at the center of the spine) take the tape down the outside of the leg to determine where you want the pant leg to end.  You need only to measure down one leg. 

4. Measure the inseam.  Take this measurement from where the leg joins the body ( this is the armpRait) measure from the arm pit to the ankle.

For Caps

1. Measure on top of head between ears.

2. Measure from top of forehead to the base of the head.

3. Measure from below one ear, under the chin to just below the other ear.

For Dresses and Jackets

1. Measure around the neck.

2. Measure around the waist.  This measurement is to be taken around the smallest part of the dogs body.

4. Measure the total length.  This measurement is from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.

For Rain Capes and Padded Cape Lining

1. Measure the length from base of neck to base of tail.

2. Measure from neck to waist.

3. Measure waist this is the smallest part of your dogs body.

4. Measure the drape of the garment. This is how much you want the cape to hang over on each side. Imagine that the cape is lying flat in front of you -- The drape would be from edge to edge.

For Jogging Suites

1. Measure around the neck

2. Measure the girth.  This is the largest part of the body.  The measurement is taken just behind the front legs.

3. Measure length from base of the side of the dogs back leg.

5. Measure the back inseam.  This is from the armpit of back legs to the ankles

6. Measure the front inseam.  Taken  from the front leg arm pit to the ankle.
